After a sold-out collaboration with House of Suntory last year, we’re thrilled to return for another unforgettable evening of Japanese elegance and innovation.

On Thursday, 24th July, join us as House of Suntory partners once again with Yamamori North City to present a refined cocktail and culinary experience: The House of Suntory at Yamamori.

Step into a world where craftsmanship meets flavour, as we invite you to discover the beauty of Japanese whisky through a series of carefully curated cocktails and food pairings, brought to life in a unique setting that blends culture, taste, and storytelling.

Step into an evening of refined indulgence with a meticulously crafted four-course tasting menu that celebrates the elegant harmony between Japanese cuisine and premium Japanese whisky. This exclusive dining experience features four savoury courses followed by a delicate dessert, each expertly paired with the nuanced depth and craftsmanship of exceptional Japanese whisky.

Tasting Menu

🍹 Welcome Cocktail: Toki Shiso Highball – a refreshing start to the evening, featuring the crisp, light character of Toki Whisky.
Edamame Yuzu Kosho & Sea Salt - The citrusy, spicy, and salty notes of Yuzu Kosho complement the natural umami and mild sweetness of edamame. 

  • 🥢 First Pairing: The Chita – a smooth, single-grain whisky matched with a delicate small plate.

    • Regular: Seared Scallops (2pcs) with Umeboshi Glaze and Shredded Shiso - Umeboshi’s umami and acidity, with shiso’s fresh, citrusy notes, highlight the scallops’ clean flavour and pair well with the whisky’s fruit and spice.

    • Vegan / Vegetarian: King Oyster Mushroom with Umeboshi Glaze and Shredded Shiso - The sour and salty flavour of umeboshi can cut through the richness of the Chita's delicate notes, creating a pleasant contrast

  • 🌿 Second Pairing: Hakushu – a vibrant, lightly peated single malt, paired to enhance its herbal notes.

    • Regular: Smoked Salmon Nigiri with Wasabi Cream Sauce ( 2 pcs) - Hakushu’s fruit, oak, and subtle smoke complement the salmon’s umami and wasabi’s heat, while its complexity balances the dish’s richness.

    • Vegan / Vegetarian: Asparagus Nigiri with Nikiri sauce - The earthy, slightly sweet taste of asparagus can harmonise with the peat and green tea notes found in some Hakushu whiskies. 

  • 🥃 Third Pairing: Yamazaki – Japan’s most iconic single malt, rich and complex.

    • Regular: Seabass Tempura & Udon in Miso Broth - The crisp, lightly sweet seabass tempura cuts through the rich miso broth, while the umami and chewy udon pair beautifully with the whisky’s oak, caramel, and spice notes.

    • Vegan / Vegetarian: Yasai Tempura & Udon in Miso Broth - The light, crispy texture and the natural flavours of the vegetables in tempura can be enhanced by the whisky's smooth, rich mouthfeel

  • 🍯 Fourth Pairing: Hibiki Harmony – a masterful blend of malt and grain whiskies, paired with a dish that mirrors its depth.

    • Regular: Yakitori with Teriyaki Glaze and Sansho Pepper (2 Skewers) - The whisky's fruity balance enhances the umami and smokiness of the grilled chicken. Its sweet, savoury glaze and hint of sansho spice pair well with Hibiki Harmony’s smooth profile

    • Vegan / Vegetarian: Miso Glaze Aubergine - The savoury miso and aubergine provide a nice counterpoint to the fruitiness of the whisky, while the earthy notes of the aubergine enhance the whisky's complexity.

  • 🍊 Final Toast: Old Fashioned with The AO – a bold twist on a classic, using Suntory’s world blend whisky to close the night on a high note.
